Blood pressure truely is the silent killer. It not only stresses the blood vessels but damages the kidneys and weakens the heart. This leads many people on the road to kidney failure and possible congestive heart and or stroking out after years of this.
Cholesterol is a big problem-certainly but the answer is NOT the cholesterol eating drugs. They cause a tremendous amount of damage to the body and at what risk? Your body makes and needs cholesterol-it's not good to break it all down.
I have never had high cholesterol but have improved my profile greatly of HDL/LDL by religously taking oil based Vitamin D3, Omega 3 fish oils, and lowering my carbohydrate intake.

New Blog
This is my first blog out there in the www. Wow things have changed. No myspace for me but facebook has allowed me to connect with many past and present friends and relatives.
I wanted to create this blog to talk about health and wellness. Basically diet and exercise and supplements to help enhance and support overall good health and fight the aging process as well as we can. Most of the time any problem can be fixed with mild dietary changes and mild exercise BUT it must be consistent and over the long term. None of these quick fixes work -it takes time and patience. I have over 25 years of experience in all forms of diet, supplements, and training programs with everything else mixed in between like recovery and stretching to destressing techniques.
Follow along as I will be posting a lot of articles and references to other blogs that are goldmines of information.
